JTB Global Marketing & Travel Inc. (JTBGMT) has been appointed the official travel agent for the Conference and will handle optional tours.
The following tours are organized and operated by JTB GMT, and Participants in the tours will conclude an Agent-Organized Tour Contract (" Tour Contract ") with JTB GMT, as the tour conditions are subject to the followings, Tour Conditions attached otherwise, Final Tour Itinerary delivered before departure and " Terms & Conditions of Travel Contract (Agent-Organized Tour Contract). If there is a divergence between the following and the Tour Conditions attached otherwise, the followings are preferentially applied.

Tour Highlight : Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant which had incident in The Great East Japan earthquake on 11th Mar, 2011 can be visited with this tour. It is now safely visited. This tour is specially arranged for IAC2018 participants!

Itinerary
Tour Highlight : Iwakishi Sekitan Kasekikan (Coal and Fossil museum) and Ammonite center. This tour introduces ancient era of Abukuma District. Dinosaurs exhibition which renewed in 2010, coal tunnel entrance elevator, reproduced coal tunnel are very exciting!

Tour Highlight : Aquamarine Inawashiro Kingfishers Aquarium (AIKA) recreates the natural environment and exhibits freshwater organisms found in Fukushima. Please also enjoy a wonderful aquarium in the Sea of Japan side! Niigata City Aquarium is one of Aquamarine Fukushima's friendship aquariums.

Visiting Kingfishers Aquarium and Japanese Sake experience in Aizu area on Nov.11

Itinerary
Tour Highlight : Enjoy Aquamarine Inawashiro Kingfishers Aquarium (AIKA) which recreates the natural environment and exhibits freshwater organisms found in Fukushima. After visiting AIKA, you will visit Aizu area which still preserves traditional buildings. Aizu area is famous for Japanese Sake brewing, and Japanese sake can be tasted on this tour as well.

Reservation and Entry into Effect of Tour Contract

The deadline of application for these tours is September 28th, 2018. It is required to pay the total amount of Tour Price as above by the deadline as application deposit to JTB GMT stated in Article 3 and Article 24 of Tour Condition attached. The application deposit will be applied as part of payment for the Tour Price, Cancellation Fee or a penalty under the Tour Contract.
JTB GMT accepts reservations under Tour Contract by online specified by JTB GMT. The Tour Contract is not in effect at the application until Client has paid total amount of Tour Price. Client shall pay the total amount of Tour price by bank transfer to the following bank account or inform JTB GMT of its credit card number of its credit card under instructions of JTB GMT.
Please refer to Article 3 of the attached Tour Condition for the time of entry into effect of the Tour Contract.

Cancellation

If a client cancels the tour for personal reasons after the conclusion of the Tour Contract, the client shall pay the cancellation fees described below.

Timing of Cancellation Cancellation fee
(a) If cancellation is made on or after the 10th day prior to the day preceding the date of commencement of the travel. 20% of the tour price
(b) If cancellation is made on or after the 7th day prior to the day preceding the date of commencement of the travel (excluding the cases mentioned in (c) through (e) 30% of the tour price
(c) If cancellation is made on the day preceding the date of commencement of the travel 40% of the tour price
If cancellation is made on the date of commencement of the travel (excluding the case mentioned in (e)) 50% of the tour price
In case of cancellation after the commencement of the travel or of nonparticipation without communication 100% of the tour price

This Tour condition is on the basis of July 20th, 2017. Tour Price is calculated on the basis of effective transportation charges and rules on July 20th, 2017. We will not re-operate the tour in any circumstance.
